Challenges 4 Humanity is a charity events organisation that runs fitness & adventure challenges (cycling, running, hiking, skydiving etc.) to raise money for vital causes like food, clean water, medical care, orphan support and income-generating projects.
We believe challenge events can both inspire participants and make a real difference. Our mission is to bring people together through adventurous events that support charitable causes and transform communities.
We collaborate with UK charities and international initiatives. One key partner is One Nation, which operates on a 100% donation policy (so every contribution goes directly to the cause).
We offer a range of challenges: cycling (multi-day or single day), running, walking / hiking, skydiving, etc. Some are local, others international.
You can join any of our upcoming challenges listed on the site (see “Challenges”). Once you sign up, there will normally be information about the route, what is included, support, fundraising expectations, etc. We also provide training resources or guidance where relevant.
No. We cater to a range of fitness and experience levels. There are easier / shorter challenges for beginners and tougher ones for more experienced participants. Training / preparation advice is provided.
Typically there will be a registration fee, possibly covering logistics, support, insurance, route planning, etc. There may also be a minimum fundraising target associated with certain challenges. (Exact cost depends on the event.)
This may include things like route support, medical or first aid coverage, some meals or refreshment stops, route maps, accommodation (if applicable), a jersey or event kit, etc. Details will be provided for each event.
After signing up, you will be given or guided to a fundraising platform. You commit to raising donations for one or more beneficiary charities. Full details of the fundraising target (if there is one) are specified with the event.
Funds raised via Challenges 4 Humanity events go to the charitable causes we partner with (food, water, health, etc.). With partners like One Nation, 100% of the donations go to the cause. Some costs (logistics of running the events) are covered via registration fees or sponsors.
Yes, where applicable. If you donate via approved UK charities, Gift Aid can be applied to increase the value of your donation. Always check the specific event or charity page to confirm the eligibility.
There is usually full route support (e.g. guide / marshals, medical backup, refreshment points), safety oversight, maps, advice, and sometimes mechanical / bike repair support on cycling events.
For multi-day events (especially international), participants are responsible for their own travel to/from the start (unless arranged otherwise). Accommodation may be arranged by the organisers or participants, depending on the challenge; this will be specified for each event.
That depends on the event: for cycling, a suitable bike, helmet, repair kit, appropriate clothing, etc. For hiking, weather-appropriate gear, good footwear, etc. Event packs often include “What to bring” checklists.
Events may be delayed, re-routed, or in extreme situations cancelled if safety is at risk. Medical support is available during the event. Participants will be informed of contingency plans.
Yes — we welcome sponsorship. There are usually several levels (Silver, Gold, Platinum etc.), which come with visibility benefits. Sponsorship helps cover event costs and maximise the donation that reaches the charity.
Corporate partners can sponsor events, set up teams, or support via in-kind donations (equipment, expos, media, etc.). Contact us for corporate sponsorship info.
After the event, participants often receive certificates, photos or summaries. If you completed a cycling or hiking challenge, details will be shared via email or via the event page.
Raised funds generally still go to the charity unless there is a specific event policy stating otherwise. If you withdraw, check the fundraising terms; donors may be refunded under certain circumstances, or funds redirected.
Yes, but only under specific terms. Please check the event-specific policy. There may be a deadline for changes or withdrawals, and there may be fees or conditions attached.
Challenges 4 Humanity organises charity adventure challenges such as cycling, running, walking, hiking, and skydiving. Our aim is to inspire people to push their limits while raising vital funds for humanitarian causes worldwide.
We raise funds for food, clean water, healthcare, orphan support, and income-generating projects. We work with trusted partners like One Nation, who operate on a 100% donation policy.
Our challenges are open to anyone aged 18 and over. Younger participants may be allowed on certain events with parental/guardian consent.
Simply visit our “Challenges” page, select an event, and complete the online registration form. You’ll then receive an information pack and fundraising support.
Not at all! Our challenges are designed for a wide range of abilities. Some events are beginner-friendly, while others are more demanding. We’ll guide you on how to train and prepare.
This depends on the event:
• Cycling: a roadworthy bike, helmet, repair kit, and suitable clothing.
• Hiking/Walking: sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, water and snacks.
• Skydiving/other adventures: specialist equipment is provided.
We’ll share a kit list before each event.
Yes, most events have a minimum fundraising requirement. The amount depends on the challenge and will be clearly stated when you sign up.

100% of your fundraising goes directly to the charity project. Event costs (like transport, support vehicles, accommodation) are covered by your registration fee or sponsors.
Most of our challenges are tied to specific projects, but we occasionally run events where you can nominate a charity. Check the event details for options.
Yes — if you’re a UK taxpayer, donations can usually be boosted by Gift Aid at no extra cost.

Safety comes first. Events may go ahead in rain or wind, but in extreme conditions we may delay, re-route, or cancel for safety reasons.

Yes — companies can enter teams, sponsor events, or support us in other ways. Please contact us for more details.
What do I receive after completing the challenge?
That’s absolutely fine — just attempting a challenge is an achievement! All funds raised will still go to the charity unless otherwise specified in the event terms.
Please check the event’s cancellation policy. Registration fees are usually non-refundable, but we may be able to transfer your place to another challenge.
