One Nation, a registered UK charity, delivers this support through its income-generating projects by identifying vulnerable individuals in need and providing them with sewing machines to start or expand small businesses. One Nation are building a super village in Sri Lanka. 5 Orphanages will be built. Each Orphanage will house orphans who require full time care. An orphanage building costs £36k and will provide a place where an orphan can be looked after in a safe and secure environment.

• Each orphanage houses 20 orphans and 4 widows.
• Facilities include beds, wardrobes, study areas, living room furniture, laundry rooms, and water dispensers.

These orphanages will provide a safe environment which will provide basic needs such as; shelter, food, clothing, education and health care.

Many children walk long distances to get to school, many a time getting long exposure to the rain and also travelling on routes which are not safe. They can’t afford any other means so have no option to walk. Providing them with a bike not only reduces their travel time but also ensures they are getting an alternative means of exercise and also a better means of transport.
