My name is Amirul Ahmad, and this year I’m honoured to be taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life — the London Marathon.

I’m part of a wonderful running family called Runners for the Deen, where faith, fitness and friendship come together. Through running, I’ve learned the power of perseverance, teamwork and intention — and this year I’m taking that spirit even further by joining Challenges 4 Humanity (C4H) to raise vital funds for Gaza. Every mile I run is for a purpose. Every step is a reminder that while the marathon may be tough, it’s nothing compared to the daily struggles many people face around the world.
