We are The Luton Strollers — four brothers on bikes from Luton: Rahim, Sameer, Hafiz Shaban and Abrar (that’s us from left to right— just so you know who to blame if the pace drops ).

We’ve done charity rides before, including RideLondon 100 and even London to Paris, but most of our cycling has been on the flatter side of life. Mountains were usually something we admired from a distance… preferably while sitting down.

This time, we’ve decided to level up. For the first time ever, we’ll be riding over 300 miles through four countries — Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Italy — with some serious elevation. The kind of climbs where you start negotiating with your legs like they’re on strike.

It’s also our first challenge with Challenges 4 Humanity (C4H) — turning our love for cycling (and a lot of friendly banter) into a way to help people in need across the globe. We usually cycle together around Luton — encouraging each other, laughing together, and sometimes debating who forgot the snacks. Now we’re taking that same team spirit to the mountains, where the routes are tough, the views are stunning, and jelly legs are guaranteed.
