Thank you for visiting my page. I will be attempting to cycle the full 240 miles Khalid Bin Waleed 2019 Route. My ultimate aim is to do my bit, with your love and support, to Help Rebuild Syria InshaAllah

Where do we begin. Who will help rebuild the lives of these beautiful souls. The UN Aid agency says this,

About 1.87 million Syrians who were refugees abroad or internally displaced have returned to their areas of origin, the United Nations’ International Organisation for Migration says.

One Nation have been on the ground since the Syria Conflict began. Over that time, they have helped to support the people of Syria with Food, water, medical aid, rebuild hospitals, construction of homes, orphanages, masjids, and so much more. And they continue to do so with their Help Rebuild Syria Campaign

My story is simply that when the Syrians were shown over 15 years ago, eating cardboard and cats due to the extreme hunger of the children, we setup a project/ride called Cycling for Syria and tried to help Alhamdulillah.

Now that they have finally found some sort of peace and freedom from torture and oppression. We cannot simply sit by and not provide support and help.

Therefore, at the end of the month I will attempt the Khalid Bin Waleed 2019 Route to try and raise much needed funds to help rebuild Syria InshaAllah. It’s a 240 mile cycle ride and it’s too hard to be completed by someone like myself….. Hence ‘attempt’.

But the effort will be worth it. I may not complete it (many have tried before, some have failed including myself) but I will try my best.
