My name is Aiysa, and those who know me personally know I love being out in nature and challenging myself to improve physically, mentally and spiritually, hence I took on my biggest challenge straight after Ramadhan – to climb Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, to raise funds for the children of Palestine, Yemen, and Syria. I completed that successfullywith your love and support

Challenge Update – From Morocco to the Yorkshire Dales!

Just after a month of returning from Mount Toubkal—a tough but rewarding challenge, the situation in the Middle East has escalated, so I’ve raised my fundraising target and added a second challenge.

On Saturday 17th May, I’ll be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge—24 miles and three summits in under 12 hours. This date marks 77 years since the Nakba, when over 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced in 1948, a trauma still felt by generations today.

This fundraiser is dedicated to sparking moments of joy for the children of the Middle East. My goal is to provide toys, books, sweet treats, and other small delights—simple but powerful reminders that these children are seen, loved, and not forgotten.

I invite you to donate as a means of Sadqah for yourself and your loved ones, as we are truly blessed. Every hike reminds me of the many blessings Allah has given us—from the freedom to travel, to our health and safety.

This challenge is more than a personal goal—it’s a stand of solidarity. Every donation goes directly to One Nation’s life-saving work.
