As I write this, I’m struck by how much time has passed – three long years of immense human suffering for the people of Gaza, and ongoing hardship and devastation for the people of Sudan. Both regions have endured unimaginable challenges – displacement, lack of food and clean water, limited access to medical care, and the daily struggle simply to survive. Yet through all of this, their strength, resilience, and dignity continue to shine. In 2026, I have the opportunity to run the London Marathon, and I am dedicating this run to the people of Gaza and Sudan, standing with them during these prolonged and heartbreaking crises. Every mile I complete will be in honour of their courage and a reminder that they are not forgotten.

I will be raising funds for One Nation, a charity with a 100% donation policy, ensuring that every contribution directly supports life-saving aid for those who need it most. As I make my way through London’s historic streets, I will carry with me the spirit of hope, endurance, and humanity that the people of Gaza and Sudan continue to embody.
