My name is Salim Gani, and this year I’m taking on my first ever challenge with Challenges 4 Humanity — the incredible trek to Everest Base Camp. It’s a huge step outside my comfort zone, but one that I’m truly excited (and slightly nervous!) to take on.

I’ve chosen to raise funds for Income Generating Projects, which help families build sustainable livelihoods so they can support themselves with dignity. Rather than providing one-off assistance, these projects empower people with long-term solutions — something I feel deeply passionate about.
