My name is Sheraz, and I’m originally from Zimbabwe, having relocated to the UK 22 years ago. Cycling has been a passion of mine since childhood — I still remember teaching myself to ride an adult bike that was far too big for me when I was just seven years old. After numerous tumbles, my determination paid off, and I finally mastered it! In recent years, weekend rides with friends have brought me immense joy — the sense of freedom from pedalling through beautiful landscapes and breathing in fresh air is truly uplifting.

Giving back to those in need is very important to me. That’s why I’m joining Challenges 4 Humanity (C4H) this year to support my favourite charity, One Nation. C4H provides adventurous challenges that raise essential funds for charitable initiatives worldwide. This year, I’ll be taking on the Zurich to Como (Z2C) ride, cycling through four countries — Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Italy — across tough, mountainous routes. This challenge will push me physically and mentally, but it’s all for a cause close to my heart: raising funds for several of One Nation’s life changing campaigns.
