SRI LANKA DEPLOYMENT
In Shaa Allah, Challenges 4 Humanity, together with One Nation & the One Nation Youth Team, will be travelling to Sri Lanka to carry out Humanitarian Aid Work.
Our aim is to deliver much needed aid to those in need. As well as distributing Food Aid we will also be distributing Income Generating Items, which will empower the poor and give them the opportunity to earn their own living, breaking the cycle of poverty. Not only will beneficiaries be supporting themselves, with your love and support, they will also establish a sustainable and thriving community for generations to come.

OUR PROJECTS
CANOES – £330 (Zakat Eligible)
Canoes will allow individuals to start their own fishing business. For £330 they will be provided the canoe, the paddles and the side float. Empowering individuals so that they can provide for themselves and their families. Canoes are quite often used for Fishing or for transportation, providing a steady income for the Beneficiary. Our team will be handing over Canoes to Beneficiaries during the deployment.
ELECTRIC SEWING MACHINE – £300 (Zakat Eligible)
Help empower our sisters to start their own business. They will be able to sew new clothes, repair existing clothes and provide a much-needed service, whether it be serving the community, providing for businesses or even providing clothes for schools. This is a project which will help build families. Our team will be delivering Electric Sewing Machines during the deployment.
BIKES WITH VENDING CART – £200 (Zakat Eligible)
This project allows individuals to buy and sell, whether it be food items or non-food items, individuals will have the ability to travel on these bikes to buy products and to travel to nearby vicinities to sell products. They will quickly become self-sustaining. Our team will be distributing Bikes with Vending Carts during the deployment
HAND PUMP – £120 (Sadaqa & Lillah Only)
In many areas within Sri Lanka, people have to walk miles to collect water to provide for their families. You can help provide the gift of water to a family or community in need. A hand pump will change lives. Completion time is 4 to 6 months. You can have a plaque placed on the handpump and receive a detailed report with pictures and a video upon completion.
KIDS BIKE – £110 (Zakat Eligible)
Many children walk long distances to get to school, many a time getting long exposure to the rain and also travelling on routes which are not safe. They can’t afford any other means so have no option to walk. Providing them with a bike not only reduces their travel time but also ensures they are getting an alternative means of exercise and also a better means of transport. Our team will be delivering Bikes for Kids during the deployment
FOOD PACKS – £30 (Zakat Eligible)
One food pack provides the essential staple ingredients that will help provide a family with food that will last up to a month. It contains items such as Rice, Oil, Flour and other essentials. Our team will be distributing Food Packs on the ground during the deployment
BAGS 4 SCHOOL – £10 (Zakat Eligible)
Children sometimes have to carry their school books, packed lunch and other essential items to school with their hands full or sometimes have to go without. Quite often carrying books by hand leads to them being open to the elements and also the children themselves getting tired. A school bag will help a child carry their school belongings safely and securely, and avoiding tiredness. For many this is an item that parents simply cannot afford for their children. Our team will be delivering School Bags on the ground during the deployment.
HOT MEALS – £1 (Zakat Eligible)
Many families struggle to feed themselves and some days go without food. For just £1 you can provide a child or an adult with a generous Hot Nutritious Meal that they can enjoy. Our team will be delivering Hot Meals on the ground during the deployment.
ORPHANAGE SHARE – £36 (Sadaqah and Lillah Only)
One Nation are building a super village in Sri Lanka. 5 Orphanages will be built. Each Orphanage will house orphans who require full time care. An orphanage building costs £36k and will provide a place where an orphan can be looked after in a safe and secure environment.
⦁ Each orphanage houses 20 orphans and 4 widows.
⦁ Facilities include beds, wardrobes, study areas, living room furniture, laundry rooms, and water dispensers.
These orphanages will provide a safe environment which will provide basic needs such as; shelter, food, clothing, education and health care
A share in an orphanage costs just £36. For every 1,000 Shares we can build One Orphanage. Be a part of this and gain the reward of supporting an Orphan.
I.T. LAB – £30 for 3 Shares (Sadaqah and Lillah Only)
One Nation are building a super village in Sri Lanka. The IT Lab is an essential building that will be
⦁ Equipped with computers, desks, chairs, and networking infrastructure.
⦁ Prepares orphans & community with vital IT skills for education for e.g graphic design, coding, etc, and employment opportunities.
The construction cost for the whole building including all the equipment is £10k. We are looking for 1,000 shares to help complete this project. Donate towards 3 Shares for just £30 (£10 per share)

We email you a picture of the handover to the beneficiary for the above projects.
In the case of a Hand Pump, the completion time is 4 to 6 months and we will email you directly requesting for details for the Plaque which is placed on the hand pump (Maximum Characters is 60 including spaces) The Hand Pump Feedback report which will be emailed upon completion, will show images before construction, during construction and upon completion. The Report will also have a link to additional pictures and a video as well as the co-ordinates of where the handpump is built, how deep it is and the number of beneficiaries it will benefit
