- Overview
By registering for any Challenges 4 Humanity (“we”, “us”) event, you (“the participant”) agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before signing up. - Registration
- Your place is confirmed once you complete the registration form, pay any fee, and receive confirmation.
- All details provided must be accurate.
- Registration fees are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated.
- Participants must meet any age, fitness, or eligibility criteria outlined for the event.
- Fundraising
- By joining a charity challenge, you agree to raise at least the minimum fundraising target stated.
- Funds raised must be paid to Challenges 4 Humanity by the deadline provided.
- All fundraising must clearly state that you are raising funds in aid of Challenges 4 Humanity.
- We may withdraw your place if you do not meet the agreed fundraising requirements.
- Safety & Participation
- Participation in physical challenges carries risk. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit and prepared.
- Please follow all safety instructions, event rules, and guidance from organisers or marshals.
- You must use appropriate equipment (e.g. helmet for cycling).
- We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage except where caused by our negligence.
- Cancellations & Changes
- If you cannot take part, please inform us as soon as possible. Registration fees are not refundable.
- If we must cancel or change an event (e.g. due to safety, weather, or other factors), we will notify you and may offer an alternative date or event.
- We are not responsible for costs you incur (travel, accommodation, etc.) due to cancellations or changes.
- Photos & Media
- We may take photos or videos during events for use in promotional materials.
- If you do not wish your image to be used, please inform us before or during the event.
- Data Protection
- Your personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
- We may share necessary details with event partners to manage your participation.
- Conduct
- Participants are expected to act respectfully and responsibly.
- We reserve the right to withdraw any participant who behaves inappropriately or breaches these Terms.
- Third-party Events
- Some events are organised by third-party providers. Their terms and conditions may also apply.
- In such cases, Challenges 4 Humanity acts as the charity partner, not the event organiser.
- Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
